Sober Mode
Where you make the plan
Daytime, clear head, a little more detail.
- Pick your safe contact and what they'll hear.
- A 2-minute baseline of the sober you.
- Tonight's plan in your own words.
A promise you make while sober
Drinking breaks the very judgment you'd need to notice you're too drunk to drive. SecondLook lets you make the call while you're sober, then keeps that promise for you later tonight.
Why it matters
That's about how often someone was killed in a drunk-driving crash in India in 2022.

How it works
Four small steps, all on your own device.
Step 1
A 2-minute baseline: how you type, react and track when your head is clear.
Step 2
Late at night it compares your typing rhythm with that baseline. Only timing, never your words.
Step 3
A calm “want a second look?” before the message goes. You always decide.
Step 4
If it keeps looking off: a check-in, your ride plan, then the contact you chose, the way you agreed.
One app, two modes
You meet SecondLook in two very different states, so it looks after you differently in each.
Sober Mode
Daytime, clear head, a little more detail.
Night Mode
2am, one hand, a dark bar.
Our promise
You choose your safe contact and what happens if you don't answer.
Every prompt, check-in and alert goes into a log you can read and download.
After something is flagged, settings lock for a few hours, so a drunk you can't switch them off.
Only typing rhythm is checked, on your device. Messages are never stored or sent.
SecondLook can't measure blood alcohol, so it never tells you you're fine to drive.
